GEORGE DEMIRAKOS (PT, AT), Clinic Director/ Physiotherapist/Massage Therapy Manager
George practices as a physiotherapist and athletic therapist specializing in back and neck treatments. His extensive experience includes working four years with the Montreal Canadians Hockey Team and eight years with the DuMaurier Tennis Championships. George is also a certified Pilates Instructor and has worked with a variety of celebrities, professional athletes.

JENNIFER PERKINS (PT)
Jennifer graduated from McGill University in 2000. Upon completing her degree in Physiotherapy, she studied manual therapy, receiving her Level 2 Certification. With a particular interest in athletics, Jennifer has worked for the past three years as a therapist with the International tennis tournament. She was involved with the Defi Sportif (2001, 2002), having worked as well with UQUAM’s, woman’s soccer team.
JULIE BERTRAND (B.SC., CAT(c))
Julie graduated from Concordia University in Exercise Science, specializing in Athletic Therapy and has since been working at the MAA Sports Medicine Clinic. She has extensive experience in field coverage of varied sports and is in charge of the field coverage at the MAA Corporate Triathlon. Since 2005, Julie has been working with a semi-professional winter soccer league, and has also joined Jean Perron and the Israeli National Hockey association in 2006, as the head strength and conditioning coach and athletic therapist for their junior and senior men’s teams, accompanying them to the World Championships every year. She is a certified first responder and personal trainer, as well as being director of extended health care for the Quebec chapter of the Canadian Athletic Therapist’s Association.
KARIMA BOUMEFTAH (PT)
Karima graduated from McGill University in Physiotherapy. She specializes in Musculoskeletal Injury Treatments, as well as in Perineal Reeducation; with a knowledgeable level in manual therapy and osteopathic approach. She is also actively involved in injury prevention in respect to work ergonomics, and as a first responder establishing emergency action plans. She has been also working with different sports teams: football, basketball, running, motorcycling and car racing.
GAETAN LEFEBVRE (CAT, ACE) Athletic Therapist
At the age of 43 years old, he joins the MAA, after being the head therapist for the Montreal Canadiens for 20 years. He also served as head therapist for Team Canada in the Canada Cup Tournaments in 1981-84 and 1987. During this period, he served in over 2000 games in the NHL. His association with the Canadiens started in 1974 and was part of the team that won 6 Stanley Cups. Born in Montreal, he attended Concordia University and graduated in athletic training. Member of the Canadian Athletic Therapist Association and Merican Council of Exercise NHL Trainers Association, he is also a certified first responder. He has served in the past 2 years as a consultant for many professional athlete in rehabilitation and conditioning (players such as NHL Mario Lemieux, boxer Eric Lucas, and golfer Marie Josee Rouleau (LPGA), along with firm Biotonix in research on posture analysis.
