VITTORIO CANTA ART EXHIBIT

Art Exhibition

DIVISIONNISME

Defined as 'Divisionism,' Vittorio Canta's art is a synthesis of forms generating mnemonic
connections that can be reconstructed at will in the mind of the observer.

While escaping realism, coloured segments present the essence of vibrating images in
calculated compositions that reach deep into the subconscious while leaving plenty of latitude for individual interpretation.

The exhibit will run from July 1 to 31, 2012 at the MAA from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm.

DAGNY BOCK ART EXHIBIT

Dagny BrockDagny Bock Exhibit - May 2 to 30, 2012

Dagny Bock returns to the MAA for her second solo show. This body of work is more quiet and introspective than the work of her last show. The color use is softer in its sensibility. However, many of the canvases’ powerful brush work denote an uneasy tension that lays beneath the surface of what would otherwise be a familiar and peaceful subject matter.

Trained in Europe, the U.S. and Canada, Bock currently resides in Outremont and is happy to call it home.

The exhibit will run from May 2 to 30, 2012.
