Yoga Katonah was developed in New York City by Nevine Michaan over 45 years of teaching, studying and integrating classical Yoga Hatha, Yoga Taoist and other varied philosophical, practical and mystical influences. As a very communal practice, it is continually evolved and refined by teachers all over the world. The language of Katonah uses metaphor, analogy and imagination to weave together a uniquely expressive and embodied experience. Physical Yoga practice blended with potent breathwork leads into states of meditation that leave students feeling stable, able and joyful.
